OBJECTIVE :
After completing this lecture the participant, especially the general dentist, should be able to diagnose, locate and manage endodontic cases with high level of proficiency and minimize the failures.
The aim of endodontic treatment is to treat and restore diseased teeth to reach the state of no disease. However, some of the cases fail! This may be due to many factors. In this session we will discuss the main factors that lead to endodontic treatment failure.
