ABOUT THE SESSION:
0.1 to to 1 percent of COVID-19 patients are affected by coinfections like Fungal infection known as Mucormycosis & Osteomyelitis of Facial Bone. This disease is very aggressive and is affecting along all paranasal sinuses and in few cases the procedure involves the removal of orbit & brain as well. It's an emergency to evaluate such cases and start with antifungal & aggressive debridement with Medical Management. Also, step should be taken for prevention of Mucormycosis.
