Oral Mucosal Lesions Part-1

OBJECTIVE :

After completing this lecture the participant should be able to diagnose the various types of oral mucosal lesions and their management.
Oral Cavity is home to multiple type of tissues. Mucosal diseases of oral cavity and jaws are relatively common and they represent as mucosal ulcer, or red, white or pigmented lesions. Mostly oral mucosal lesions are benign and rarely malignant. Early diagnosis will help in treatment of these lesions and prevent malignancy.
