Prof. Chandrashekar Yavagal is an Internationally acclaimed clinician, speaker, and PhD researcher specializing in lasers, pediatric dentistry, and pediatric orthodontics. A university topper in BDS and a gold medalist in MDS (Pediatric Dentistry), he went on to complete his Diploma in Orthodontics from the Orthodontic World Institute (OWI), Barcelona, Spain.He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, an Associate Fellow of The World Clinical Laser Institute, and a Diplomate of the International College of Neuromuscular Orthodontics and Gnathology, Italy. Notably, he is the only Indian dentist to have been invited as a Speaker and Chairperson by WALT (World Association for Laser Therapy) in Nice, France, in October 2018.He currently serves as a Senior Professor and PG Guide at Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. Dr. Chandrashekar Yavagal has recently been honored with two prestigious awards: the Lifetime Achievement Award from the European Medical Laser Association (EMLA) and the World Laser Specialist Award from the Asia Pacific Association for Laser Medicine and Surgery (APALMS)With over 90 publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, Dr. Yavagal has delivered more than 300 lectures, workshops, and webinars on lasers, pediatric, preventive, and restorative dentistry across India, Singapore, Kuwait, France, Taiwan, and Spain.Dr. Chandrashekar Yavagal holds several leadership positions, including:
