Dr. Veena Benakatti is a distinguished academician, researcher, and clinician currently serving as a Reader at KAHER’S KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belagavi. With a career spanning over 9 yrs, she specialises in Prosthodontics and crown and bridge, holding both an MDS and a PhD.

Aninnovator in the integration of AI and dentistry, DrVeena has secured research funding from KAHER, including a prestigious grant from the ICMR for developing an AI pipeline for dental implant identification. Her innovative work has led to the development of 8 patents and 22 publications.

She is a prolific author with numerous publications in national and international journals and has contributed chapters to prominent textbooks on futuristic trends in medical sciences and AI.
