EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

* Ph.D. in Medicine (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) – Sungkyungkwan University, Seoul, Republic of Korea 

Dr. Santhiya Iswarya Vinothini Udayakumar is a distinguished surgeon and researcher in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery. She obtained her master's and doctoral degrees in South Korea, where she sub-specialized in temporomandibular joint disorders. She has extensive experience and expertise in performing orthognathic surgeries, oral cancer and reconstruction, and temporomandibular joint surgeries. She is also leading several research projects on oral implantology and temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis. In addition, she collaborated with the departments of neurology and otorhinolaryngology to study the diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea and the role of dentists and oral and maxillofacial surgeons in its management. She has also conducted clinical studies and researches on various oral pathological conditions such as ameloblastoma, fibrous dysplasia, sagittal split ramus osteotomy, facial deformities, and benign and malignant lesions of the oral cavity. She has published numerous research papers in prestigious journals during her master's and doctoral studies.
