I am Dr. Kavitha P.T., a Public Health Dentist with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)  and a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Public Health Dentistry  from A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences. I am originally from Kerala and currently work as an Assistant Professor at Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals,SIMATS,Chennai.

I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Bioethics and Medical Ethics from Yenepoya University, Mangalore. My areas of interest include research methodology, biostatistics, preventive dentistry, tobacco control, addiction studies, and mental health. I am actively involved in academic teaching, research, and public health initiatives that promote evidence-based healthcare and community well-being.
