Dr. Gouri Anehosur is a distinguished academician and a dynamic clinician in the field of dentistry. She has completed both her BDS and MDS (Prosthodontics) from SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Dharwad, the very place where she continues as Professor, and inspires students and colleagues alike. To broaden her horizons for international exposure, she worked as Specialist in Fixed Prosthodontics in King Khalid Dental Centre, Saudi Arabia. Her academic portfolio is rich with numerous publications in national and international journals. She is also the recipient of research grants from ICMR & RGUHS. Under her guidance, undergraduate students have received ICMR-STS funds to do research. She is DCI Inspector and Postgraduate Examiner. She has served as Executive Committee Member for two terms in IPS Karnataka State Branch. A tech-savvy educator and a lifelong learner, is a keen enthusiast of digital dentistry. She has been at the forefront of adopting and integrating the latest technologies into clinical practice and teaching. Currently, she is serving in significant roles, as course coordinator for Essentials in Digital Dentistry and Research and PhD Coordinator at 
SDMCDS, SDM University, Dharwad. She is also a regular speaker at conferences. She regularly conducts webinars to help the fraternity to understand complex topics. She is admired not just for her academic excellence, but also for her forward-thinking approach that keeps her ahead of the curve.
