Dr. Arun Srinivasan completed his under graduation from the reputed Sri Ramachandra Medical University, Chennai and went on to pursue his post-graduation in Endodontics and Conservative Dentistry from Dr. RML Awadh University, Lucknow, after which he went on to acquire Standard proficiency in Lasers from ALD, University of California at San Francisco.
He began his career as a Senior Consultant with a reputed Corporate Dental Chain but his penchant for learning lead to him leaving his comfortable corporate career and beginning his journey into Facial Aesthetics as a Clinical Training Manager with ALLERGAN, USA. It was here that build up his
foundations as a trainer specializing in the field of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers. He went on to pursue international certificate programmes and Fellowship in Clinical Facial Aesthetics.
A highly driven individual, he went on to delve deeper into the field of Aesthetic medicine when he was appointed by the Spanish Multinational Corp. SESDERMA as the India Head of Medical Affairs. Here, he honed his knowledge and clinical skills with Chemical Peels, Micro-needling Devices, Serums and Homecare products along with added responsibilities like establishing the balance between the scientific, Sales and Marketing wings of the company. He was also instrumental in organizing multiple CME programmes, trainings and workshops.
Realizing that his true passion was academics, he started organizing Botox and filler workshops for doctors from all streams and eventually was invited as a visiting faculty and trainer by multiple accomplished academies and institutes pan India, providing trainings in the field of Botox and fillers.
Taking it a step further, Dr. Arun also started providing individual facial aesthetic trainings at his clinic in New Delhi for doctors who wanted a more personalized and clutter free skill enhancement in the field.
After multiple years of training more that 800+ Doctors comprising of Dermatologists, General and Plastic Surgeons, General Physicians, ENT, Maxillofacial and Dental Surgeons in the field of Clinical Facial Aesthetics, Dr. Arun realized that a different and a more clinically oriented approach was the
need of the hour in Aesthetic trainings as presently the limited options available were more focussed on theoretic guidance with limited live patient exposure
Aesthetic Medicine Training for doctors in India needs to be revamped, and the best way to bring about a change is to provide a more hands-on approach rather than just didactics. This is the only way we can compete with the best Aesthetic physicians across the globe.
This very though process led to the inception of The Center for Lasers and Facial Aesthetic Medicine (CLFAM) which aims to empower its students by carefully curating its training modalities and providing a more extensive hands on and a clinically oriented approach to Training in Aesthetic Medicine for doctors with more time devoted towards live patients.
