Establishment of optimal vertical dimension of occlusion (VDO) for prosthetic patients, either complete denture or fixed full mouth rehabilitation, is a vital step to achieve pleasing esthetics and harmonious function. There are many methods available in prosthetic literature to establish an appropriate VDO for a given patient.
